Hi, everyone, since I got a Roli Seaboard2 I no longer need the Neova Ring by Enhancia. This forum has been such a gift to me I’d like to give a little something back. I bought the ring for $100 as a discontinue from Sweetwater but the list was $399! I looked to see if any used were for sale but could not find a one. So it’s hard to get now, I think. (I never actually used it, myself)
Here’s the deal. I want to run a little contest with two conditions…
1. Your intention is to use the ring and not resell it.
2. You don’t cheat at the contest with Google or AI.
3. One entry per contestant
4. You can modify your entry till the deadline.
Many of you must know about six word novels. The most famous is Hemingway’s
“For Sale. Baby Shoes. Never worn”. I will ask my friend @McD to judge with me as he has the ring already. Your job is to create a new six word novel. If it incorporates a ring, or music in general, it will be looked on favorably. I will ship the ring to the clever winner. The contest is open until July 23 midnight.

Just kidding, I also have one of these rings from the Sweetwater blowout, and I use it to good effect while playing a wind controller, to get that extra expressive dimension... so really, you folks should try to win this!
If you win, you should download the windows or Mac software to change the default configuration. There’s a manual on that page that will document the default settings so you might not need a laptop/desktop system to change the default assigned CC’s. I’m glad the support site is still active because I also have a ring and don’t do much live playing that need these extra controls.
